recent purchases

...since ive come back to uni ive been able to shop in cardiff!...before i have to spend all my money on my final collection...thought id treat myself to some new (and well needed) clothes...

...as most students are now back at uni/school...shops have been offering a limited time student discount...this is the best news for a student...hence my lil shop splurge...

new look skirt

...i have wanted a leather skirt for a while now but havent been able to find the perfect one...when i was in cardiffs new look im came across two which i loved...after trying on both i instantly feel in love with this leather look quilted mini skirt...quilting is a trend which is going to be everywhere next year so this skirt will last me through till next winter...
new look tartan shirt

...this isnt the exact shirt i bought as mine isnt on the website for some reason but the only thing different is the colour...mine is a green, navy and red tartan...this shirt is such a good casual piece...works well with anything from jeans to black skater skirt or as a jacket over a dress...the fabric is also a really nice flannel sort of material...tartan is also another big trend at the moment and in the foreseeable future...
new look dress

...for a recent night out in cardiff i wanted a new dress...i had one originally from zara but thought i wouldnt get the wear out of it as much...so searched again and found this beauty from new look... this is a perfect dress to dress up or even dress down...so would get multiple wears out of it...the picture doesnt show well but it has a really nice glittery/shimmer to it...

river island oversized top

...im really into this greeny/yellow florescent colour at the moment...so when i saw this oversized boxy top i had to have it...ive worn it with my leather panel pants and they went perfectly...the detailing under the arm is a snake skin like print in black...adds a nice finishing touch to this very casual style top...
new look chunky platform

...accessories wise...i bought these gorgeous chunk of a platform shoes...the store states theyre burgundy but theyre more like a purple which i prefer...plus they are super comfy...
topshop fedora

...and last but not least...my favourite and the item i have wanted the most...black fedora hat...theres a few around at the moment...this one is from topshop i felt it suited my head better than the one from river...i already own a floppy burgundy hat and wanted a new smaller black one...so when i found this one i just had to have it...

...sorry for my lack of posts recently...uni work is taking over my life again...haha bring on third year!...
